About Richard Sclafani MA
I have been a registered counselor in the State of Washington (#RC00050568) since 2004.
I received my BA in Speech Communication from the University of Washington and my MA in Counseling from Mars Hill Graduate School and have worked extensively with individuals, students, couples, adolescents, at risk teens, and families for the last twelve years. I'm a seasoned marriage counselor and also enjoy working with issues of faith and spirituality.
I facilitate individual, family/marriage, and group counseling at my private practice located near Green Lake in Seattle, WA and I am also available for leading retreats. I am a member of the American Counseling Association, Seattle Counseling Association, and the Counseling Seattle Network.
Working from existential, relational, and psychodynamic models of psychotherapy, I strive to work with individuals by diving into the depths of their stories and authentically engaging and exploring their relational styles and most personal struggles.
